Placenta Previa

My 20 week appointment went well last week, the baby's heartrate was back up to 155 and I continue to feel her moving and kicking! There was just a slight concern about the placement of my placenta. It is attached to the uterine wall lower than what my midwife would like to see. She said it is nothing to worry about now and hopefully with time, as the uterus grows, the placenta will move up. A low lying placenta can cause a condition called Placenta Previa, where the placenta partially or completely covers the cervix (where the baby comes out) and can cause a lot of bleeding in a normal delivery. Therefore, I would need to have a c-section if that were to happen. Please be praying that the placenta does move up with time! Thank you! We love you all!
