We have officially entered the 4th month with Olivia! We have been SO blessed by this little girl! I can't imagine life without her. She has really started becoming an individual who loves to communicate, play with her stuffed animals, bounce and explore the world around her (with her mouth of course)! Always very alert, easy going and laughing more and more.
Olivia is now 13 lbs. 2 oz. and 25 3/4 in. long, with hair that sticks straight up on top of her head! She is in the 97th percentile for height and the 45th percentile for weight. She is a long and lean little one, now beginning to wear her 6th month clothes!
Livie is a good supported sitter and has now mastered the art of rolling over! Whenever she is put on her back, the first thing she does is roll to her tummy. At that point she gets stuck. I have a feeling though that she will be rolling to her back very soon. She teeters to one side, but doesn't quite make it over. At her 4 month check-up, her doctor said that she has started rolling sooner than normal. What a smart girl!
This month Daniel and I have started Liv on rice cereal at night. She began sleeping through the night around 2 months, but started having trouble sleeping more than 3 or 4 hours in her third month. With the suggestion of our pediatrician and many others around us, we decided to start putting rice cereal in her late night bottle. She responded well and can now go 5 hours straight (considered sleeping through the night) without waking for a feeding. Starting her on solids are in the near future!
We love her tremendously and are excited for the new changes to come!
