Olivia is 8 months! I cannot believe just how fast time flies when you have a little one. She is getting to be such a big girl. I can see her personality shine through more and more each day. She is curious, happy, knows how to get what she wants and LOVES looking at herself in the mirror and pictures! Olivia's favorite games are peek-a-boo and playing copy cat with Mommy and Daddy. She also enjoys reading books and rummaging through her toy box, throwing toys everywhere.
Livie is closer to crawling everyday! She scoots on her belly backwards and in circles so far. She doesn't go very far, but it is only a matter of time. She has just recently been able to get up on her hands and knees, although she falls back on her belly after a few seconds.
Our new food adventures are beginning to include finger foods! Livie is loving cut up bananas, avocado, kiwi, pears and rice puffs. I have begun introducing meat as well, pureed turkey so far. She is a good eater! Unfortunately we have had to start giving her formula once a day to supplement breastfeeding. My body has been lagging in milk production lately. But she doesn't seem to mind.
This past month Livie was dedicated at our church! She did very well! She was a little leery of Pastor Terry at first, but really loved touching his beard!
