Our Livie is 1 year old!!! She is growing up SO fast! We have had such a wonderful past year with this little girl. She has brought so much joy to our lives, more than we ever knew was possible.
At a year old, Livie is learning and growing faster and faster than ever. She has picked up many more new signs, sounds and skills, just in the last 3 weeks. As far as signs, Livie is now baby signing phone, hello, open and hat. She is also signing phrases like: "More please" and "Up please!" While Mimi was here baby sitting when Daniel and I were out of town, Livie learned how to buzz like a bee too! She is also trying to say sooo many new words as well. She often says: "Hi," "What?" and "This." She loves to communicate!
Turning around and going down the stairs backwards is another new skill for Liv. She can do it all by herself now! She is feeding herself with a spoon as well. I have to load it for her of course, but she is all about putting it into her own mouth.
Recently, Livie has started singing (sounds) and humming. It is so cute! She LOVES music. She dances with more than just her hands now, getting her whole body movin'. She asks for music to play with her little baby signs.
Livie is not walking just yet (she doesn't quite have the balance), but she is such a little swimmer! She started swim lessons this week and loves the water! We have been to the pool several times this summer already.
We had such a great time at Olivia's birthday party over Memorial Day weekend in Boise! We had an Olivia the Pig themed party. Livie loves the Olivia books! Here are a few pics of her party:
